LeThabo Game Farm and Lodge is situated in the Waterberg Region, Mabula District, just 40km outside Bela-Bela, Limpopo. Our Game farm is surrounded by amazing savannahs, wildlife, and the breathtaking views of the Waterberg Mountains.
LeThabo Game Farm is a perfect getaway for personal, private time and for group get togethers as our guests are guaranteed peace, privacy and tranquility. At LeThabo Game Farm we offer two types of bushveld accommodation
- 18 Sleeper Self Catering House
- 8 Sleeper Full Board Lodge
Our Self-Catering House and Lodge accommodation are placed strategically to offer intimacy and maximum privacy for all our guests.
Our Self-Catering House: Villa
The self-catering house is the venue for all occasions, whether you are celebrating birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, team building or taking time out with family and friends, our self-catering house is the perfect choice. It has a boma, swimming pool, 3 braai facilities, ample space for parking and outdoor activities.

Our Lodge Accommodation
Our Lodge is a tranquil lodge, offering our guests space to relax and connect, outside the stress and robust demands of their daily lives. It is the special spot where you can reflect inwardly, process your thoughts and emotions in a calm, tranquil, comfortable environment. A place to revitalize your soul and mind as you connect with self and nature.
LeThabo Lodge offers guests full board accommodation with scrumptious meals at affordable rates, relaxing outdoor lounge/library, private radiant swimming pool, guided bush walks, picnics by the dam, game drives, interaction with elephants, catch release fishing and birdwatching.
Our Rooms
We have two types of accommodation in the Lodge
- Double rooms: 90o view, full suite bathroom with shower, bath, double vanity and separate toilet, patio.
- Single/Double rooms with view, separate toilet, vanity shower and an additional outside shower.
Meals
Our Lodge accommodation includes three daily meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) guests have an option to choose from our chefs’ menu.
Activities
Fishing
As we all know fishing is a mediative activity that forces you to reflect and slow down. At LeThabo Game Farm we encourage our guests both young and old, experienced or beginners to stay happy and relax at our private Dam. Catching and releasing a wide variety of our freshwater fish (barbel, bass, carp, kurper etc.) as they listen or watch our resident pair of Fish Eagle call and hunt.
Picnics
At Lethabo Game Farm picnics are for families and for the romantics with an option to have your picnic by the dam with the backdrop of the beautiful Waterberg mountains or under our graceful, lofty marula tree in the bush overlooking the Rooiberg Mountains.
Walks
Nature walks are therapeutic, not only do they reduce your stress levels and lift your spirits but help your cognition mind to enhance practices of mindfulness and gratitude.
LeThabo Game Farm has different trails of various lengths which can be used for walking, jogging or cycling. Our guests get to enjoy our vast flora and fauna, the local birds, various trees, and wildlife activity.

Quad Safari
Looking for some adventure in the bush, experience the unforgettable game viewing quad bike experience. We at LeThabo Game Farm offer safe, fun filled adventure experience for the young and old. An hour and a half of spectacular viewing, with an experienced guide to ensure safety as he enlightens you about your surrounding and survival tips in the bush.
Game Hunting
You want to experience a real fair chase of wild animals in their natural habitat, we are the right spot for you to enjoy the sport. LeThabo Game Farm has a variety of plains games that can be hunted for meat or for trophy collection by both local and international hunters.
We do not only offer game hunting experience to seasoned hunters also non-hunters are welcome to join and enjoy this life changing experience. LeThabo Game Farm offers a full range of services to our hunters, experienced professional hunters, seasoned trackers, comfortable accommodation, meat processing options, taxidermist, shuttle services and more.
